I joined Star P.A.K. when I was six years old.  I was a Christian kid growing up in a Christian home, and I loved to perform.  My mom figured Star P.A.K. would be perfect.  She was right.  I participated in Star P.A.K. for the next ten years and loved every minute of it.  
         

Star P.A.K. taught me what it is to be an individual - to live for God and not care what anyone else thinks except Him.  The program is designed to take each kid and build them up both spiritually and personally.  Coming out of that program, I felt like I could do anything, because God was with me.  I owe much of my spiritual growth and self-confidence to Star P.A.K. and would not trade my time with Kathleen and Nancy for anything.

Star P.A.K. also introduced me to the performing arts.  As a result, I participated in musical theater all through high school because of Star P.A.K.  The excellence that Kathleen and Nancy demanded for their productions led me to demand excellence for myself in everything else in my life.  
         

Through the love they show for their students and God, Nancy and Kathleen are role models for me, both personally and spiritually.  The effect that Kathleen and Nancy had on me as a student has inspired me to become a teacher myself.  (I am primarily a violinist, so I want to become a high school orchestra director.)  I have the confidence I need, I am not afraid to speak in front of people, and my relationship with God is developing every day.  All in all, this program made me into the person I am today.

StarPAK is God's gift to parents looking for an excellent quality theater program for their children. There's also a bonus....it's Christian-based! My children have been inovlved with drama programs run by Katheleen and Nancy over the past five years, and we feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to participate in Star PAK and summer Drama Camps. As a parent volunteer for their summer Drama Camps, I have personally witnessed the process - and it is truly amazing how Kathleen and Nancy consistently produce fabulous shows with a roomful of kids (once there were 70 in the show!) dancing, singing and acting on stage in two-hour musicals with less than four days of rehearsals (drama camp). The shows (both the drama camp shows and Star PAK performances) are exceptionally well done - always entertaining - and participating in them provides the kids with a vehicle to express their talents and share a Christian message while gaining self-confidence....and having a blast doing it!

I emphatically recommend StarPAK to anyone searching for a worthwhile theater performance experience for their children!
